Testing Tomorrow's Technology at BMC Innovation Labs

#artificialintelligence

BMC sponsored this article for The New Stack. When we think about tech's ultimate disruptors, Apple leads the pack. Apple was a PC vendor competing with the likes of Commodore in the early 1980s before co-founder Steve Jobs seeded the idea of a portable music player -- and anticipated the explosive demand for the iPhone. The company's leadership envisioned what the end user would want years in advance, as well as how to pre-empt problems by solving ahead of time those that would likely occur along the way. Most technology- and data-driven companies realize that just focusing on meeting today's user demands is not a sustainable business model.

SAP, BrainChip Holdings, Infineon - Chip stocks before the next wave!

The current interest rate decision is casting its shadow ahead, and the horrendously rising inflation rates are unsettling market participants. In the fight against inflation, the US Federal Reserve will likely shrink its balance sheet further and herald more aggressive interest rate steps. However, there is then a risk of significantly weakening the economy. That would seriously worsen the macroeconomic picture and significantly increase the risk of the US sliding into recession. The biggest losers from a major interest rate hike will likely remain interest rate sensitive growth stocks. However, such a scenario is already priced in for many stocks.

3 Ways to Make $1000 a Month using AI Generated Content - TangledTech

#artificialintelligence

In 2020 the GPT-3 model of A.I. was released which utilizes 175 billion machine learning parameters. It's a sophisticated A.I. that can truly understand your commands and provide content based off of them. The GPT-3 A.I.'s API is being used by tons of different tools in a variety of innovative ways. We're going to look at how we can utilize this amazing new technology to make $1000 a month using A.I. generated content. Content is the lifeblood of any business, but creating content is time-consuming, expensive, and often requires a human touch. To tackle this problem, you can use artificial intelligence (AI) to create content for you.

The Biggest Deepfake Abuse Site Is Growing in Disturbing Ways

WIRED

A deepfake website that generates "nude" images of women using artificial intelligence is spreading its murky tentacles across the web--spawning look-alike services through partner agreements and recruiting new users through a referral system. The expansion efforts have allowed the service to proliferate despite bans placed on its payment infrastructure. The website, which WIRED is not naming to limit its amplification, has existed since last year. It digitally "removes" clothing from non-nude photos to create nonconsensual pornographic deepfakes. Researchers say its output is "hyper-realistic," and unlike similar abusive platforms, it can generate pornographic images even when the person in the original photo is fully clothed.

Neurala Launches Global Channel Partner Program to Bring Vision AI to Manufacturers
